Slowly but surely editing The Earl's Keeper for publication. It's a laborious process but one day at a time does it still debating on the whole self-publishing/traditional route and ugh can't decide if I have the patience to wait on (probable) rejections or just give it a go and just go!

Hey I am able to see only 34 chapters but it’s showing your book is complete. Is there an error with my phone or did you not update it yet?

D_Brownie

Hey! Thanks for reaching out to me - so sorry on my delayed response there’s no error with your phone, I’ve taken those chapters off to revise as I’m not too happy with the current ending. It’s been a long process (life, university, work just piles up, yk now?) but I’m aiming to sort out my biz and get this all shifted this year. Appreciate you reading my work so much, so glad you’ve enjoyed it so far! Much love xx

Hi! Not sure if I missed something but in the “Update!” part 37, you mentioned that TEK had two chapters and an epilogue left. Were those added? I thought maybe my book was showing an error which is why I can’t see

@D_Brownie looking forward to it ((: thanks for the reply!

@delphi_ hey Delphi, indeed they were but I've taken them off to review and edit as I'm a little unhappy about the ending! They should be back pretty soon, sorry to keep you waiting

Hey! I read The Earl's Keepee and loved it! Are you going to update the 2nd book? I can't see any update regarding that. I would love to read that too but it seems you stopped writing it :(

D_Brownie

Heya, thank you for reading and reaching out I’m currently editing TEK (for a personal project) and for The Watty’s 2020! But to give you an answer - yes although I’ve taken a pause on TLK, it won’t be for long. (:

          Lynching.

          Powerful word, that.

Some might say it’s an exaggeration but the world bore witness to an act of abuse, profiling, racism, brutality and ultimately a black man put to death by the one that was supposed to hold legal authority. Seems like a modern day lynching to me.

Let us not easily forget what happened to the late George Floyd, May 25th 2020, may he rest in peace. Let us never forget the many before him, and achingly enough - the many to come after him. Because isn’t that the truth of it?

I can’t breathe while black people continue to be abused - can you?
