I know, it's so unfair! I'm in NO WAY smarter than my classmates – all the other Chinese kids in the classroom look at me like I'm retarded. But I. DON'T. CARE.
            
            Once, the girl I sat next to tapped my shoulder in math class and said, "hey, you look smart. You know the answer to number eleven?"
            
            I paled. Because I didn't. And my parents had told me that school didn't teach me anything, that I'd go nowhere with just the stuff my teachers taught me. And there I was, not knowing the answer to THIS EASY-PEASY-LEMON-SQUEEZY MATH PROBLEM!
            
            Here I was, living proof that not all Asians are geniuses.
            
            That girl gaped so wide when I told her I didn't know that even the teacher came up to our desk and asked us what was wrong. And she ignores EVERYONE. XD

IKR! I'm expected to know everything and grow up to be a scholar or pharmacist or whatever! X3

@DarkTurtl KEWL! I'm actually Chinese too, but I HATE, HATE, HATE ALL OF IT because I'm expected to be all smart and stuff. Gawd I hate stereotypes… literally, Chinese food makes me barf even though I EAT IT EVERY DAY. I JUST WANNA ENJOY A FREAKING PIZZA FOR ONCE!!!!
