For me readings about escaping to another world, time, place 

There is this quote that goes along the lines of

You only live once but readers live thousands of lives

It speaks to me because it's true those books we read they might be fantasy, si fi, horror, crime etc it doesn't matter what genre it is your experience someone ekes life their story that is what's beautiful. You visit places that you've never been and maybe never will or it could be the oppose that you have been there but your seeing it from their view not your own and that's a wondrous thing that most don't appreciate.
