Hi! Aspiring, shy, writer here. I've been writing for most of my life, but I've always been apprehensive about showing people who don't know me. I love to read. Even with mommy duties, I can read one book a day or every two days. My kindle currently has over 800 books. And here's the thing I noticed... out of all 800 books, less than 20 had a black woman as a main character. 

After I had a dream about a guy on a motorcycle, I started writing The Bearded Lumberjack. I want the world to know that black women can be beautiful and desired too. Currently, The Bearded Lumberjack is with an editor and I'm working to get it published.

You can read my other stories: Fire Her Up and The Fixer which are both complete. The Captain is a sequel to The Fixer and will complete Vicki's story.

Since October 2020 (its last week of Feb 2021 as I write this), I wrote 3 different stories starring black women, totaling 6 books and over 600k words. 

With the encouragement of friends who do not know each other, I'm here on Wattpad. 

I'm terrified. 

But I'm here. 

I'm just a black woman trying to be heard through the static.
