Perspective is a funny thing. Depending on how we view things, we interpret things differently.
From one angle, we may see a guy bent on one leg, holding his partner's hand, proposing. But from another, we see that guy pleading for her not to leave him.
From one angle, we see a little girl handing a flower to her first crush. But from another, we see that girl's flower being crushed at the hand of the little boy.
With arts like photography, it's taught to exploit the angle, ensure that the perfect position is found and captured to encompass the true feelings of the moment. The same goes for writing. We must take every angle, every perspective and use it to play on the emotions of the audience.
Maybe we should consider this in real life? Before acting, stop, breathe and view the moment from every perspective.
