I am a new member, looking for some feedback & motivation for my story.  When I was in high school, one of my best friends always loved to read the LOTR Fanfic that I was writing.  She loved it so much that she would steal my notebook from me every morning to read more, even if I only wrote one sentence.  After awhile we had started to write a continuation of our own together.  Now, many years later, I have started a new story all my own, instead of fanfics as I've written before.  I did draw some inspiration from some of the novels I've been reading, but for once the plot & characters are 100% my own.  Unfortunately, my friends had always been a driving factor in my creative writing.  Now we are states apart & moving on with our own busy lives & careers.  Creativity is always at my core, whether it is my artwork, music, or writing.  I'm not looking to make a career out of my writing, since I have already made a career for myself through my artwork, but it is just something I enjoy doing.
