Ellery Hart was born and raised in Texas. For the first fourteen years of her life, she lived on a farm building forts and catching tadpoles. Her creative storytelling mostly manifested itself in the imaginary games she and her little sister would play, though she did manage to jot down a few short stories during that time.
Shortly after she turned fifteen, she moved with her family to Houston, Texas where she began to write more seriously. In those early drafts she had no idea what she was getting herself into except that it was delightful, unlimited and just what she needed. It was only later that she discovered editing.
Ellery attended Houston Baptist University with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Creative Writing. It was during that time that she completed two works, Thief, available on Amazon, and Red Spell.
She still lives in Houston with her family and two very fat, very lovable dogs and is working on the first book of a new series.
