A few people have been asking me if I write for the marauders fandom and plainly put I do not. I don't enjoy writing fanfiction where the fans force me to write characters as gay and in the past when I have tried people have insisted I turn it into gay literature which makes me incredibly ucomfortable as, whilst I am an ally and am in full support of the LGBTQ+ community, I myself cannot write for that demographic because I myself am not gay.
I found that when you write outside of what you know you get penalized for it and are demonized for not knowing what you'e talking about. so no, I will not be writing Mauraders fics.
