I'm so tempted to drop everything Obssesion related and start work on a Totk GhiraLink au that has been rotating in my brain for ages (slowburn, Partially Deaf and Mute Link, Ghirahim becoming a sign language interpreter, Master/Sword au, THE FUCKING WORKS.)
          
          Like, yes, I promised myself i would at the very least finish Obsession before moving onto different projects but... just picture this with me
          
          Link, on Epona, searching for a new sword either during or after the events of TotK (either feeling unworthy of the master sword, or straight up just loosing ownership of her), stumbles upon a thicket near Lake Illumeni. It's a ragged shrine, an unkempt resting place with a massive, rusted claymore haphazardly sunken into rubble. The ruins have long since been abandoned, but the sword... the sword draws him like a moth to a flame. It feels wrong, it feels right. He needs to fix this poor thing. And in pulling it from it's resting spot, intent on bringing it to the one and only lynel blacksmith he knows (she never asks questions and always does good work for a reasonable amount of gourmet meat), he unknowingly links himself to a long slumbering demon, one who should've *stayed dead.*

          Beloved followers and readers, it turns out I was NOT burnt out and was just severely depressed.
          
          Likely, I will be resuming progress on the final chapter of obsession some time soon but... brothers and sisters of the jury I am holding the metaphorical beer bottle and draining it in one go. *bro.*
