Hi everyone,
          
          It was not that long ago that I had made one of these announcements here but I have been thinking on where I want to take The Blackwood Chronicles series coming into the new year.
          
          I have been thinking about also publishing it elsewhere to get more readers to enjoy it. What I have been thinking about removing it completely from the sight and putting it up elsewhere or keeping it up and also having it published elsewhere.
          
          I will leave that for you all to help me decide. Please let me know what you think is best for me to do before I make a decision that will change this account.

Hi everyone.
          
          I am back. It has surely been a while since I have done any work on this site. But I am back and ready to keep working on the Blackwood Chronicles. I have a good idea for a few more stories for this series and they are currently being planned at the moment.
          
          As the site tells you I have just updated The Wendigo. Which has been a long time since I have done anything with it. I can't remember the last time that I updated it, it must be a good couple of years since I have done any actual work for this series and have allowed it to collect dust in the electronic library which is  Wattpad. I know this chapter is short but with it being short it makes you want more. I hope it makes you want more.
          
          So I hope to update The Wendigo and get moving onto another part of the Blackwood Chronicles which I have got a few good ideas in mind but they are going through many changes with characters coming and going that I have basically gave up on it just now. But you know that itch that comes about with creating these worlds that we would rather inhabite than this one because they either have dragons or superheroes, I know I will get back to them. It is just a matter of when I get back to them. 
          
          Being in the hospital and the house for a year has only made me want to write Fanfictions which are easier in that you use characters that are already there. Being easier it is also lazy work but it also improves writing which may start to show in the latest chapter that I have posted but then again that chapter has been in the draft section for a good while, I don't know when it was created and last updated before tonight when I should be in bed. 
          
          I really do hope to get this ball moving once again but even before I felt that it took me ages to get a chapter up for The Wendigo and here is me talking about starting another story.
          
          Slow down Lauren. Life is not a race. Let's hope that 2021 is a lot better year than 2020.

Hi everyone, 
          it has been a while since I had last posted on Wattpad. I have a good reason for that and why I have not been working on Blackwood Chronicles : The Wendigo. 
          First of I just lost interest in writing it, after I kept coming up with writers blocks. I didn't really know where I wanted to take it at the time. So I am thinking of restarting or trying to pick up from where I had left off. Let me know which you way you thick is the best way.
          Also in recent months I have been treated for cancer, which had seen me not well at all to continue to write. Now I have finished my treatment and like many of us, I am trapped in the house due to the current events that are happening all around the world. So with this great amount of time I will be once again in front of my laptop working on this series and get it finished.
          I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy

Hey everyone I am sorry it has been so long since I have updated "Blackwood Chronicles: The Wendigo". At this very moment I am working on the 6th chapter and I might also start the 7th chapter so that I can get two chapters up and running after being inactive for so long. Hopefully I wont be away from this work for another long period of time, but for the last few months I have been finding myself having to put this work to the backburners just to get that stuff out of the way. I have now managed to get up on top of that meaning I once again have time to work with this without having to work with my mind on other things. I cannot say when the next chapter will be up, but I would like to say that it will be up sometime soon- hopefully at the end of this week coming into the next week. 
          
          Well I think I shall stop talking and get to start working on the next chapter for The Wendigo. Speak to all of you soon :)
