Ok I got kinda of big message to big to fit into 1 post.
I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THIS NOT ME HATING THIS JUST ME VOICING MY OPINION.
Part 1:
The Possessive Player Wants Me I really the book but, I having at least 2 major issues here
It has to do with the flow of your book. Like it was flowing nicely up until the Worst Sleepover Ever With Friends (which is chp 10) after that it just took off way to fast. You had Eli saying on chp 7, "But let me get [something] straight [here], Drew is mine. Don't you dare make a move on him." This is followed by Eli beating the shit out of her b/c Lizzie doesn't want to risk the consequence that would come shortly after. So instead of clashing heads at this sleepover they actually get along like friends. No bickering or cat-fight. Just 2 people hanging out with their friends.
(Frist issue) First and foremost I like what your trying to do here with Eli and Lizzie 2 best friends who lost a close/best friend (named Hayley) to both of them and how each of them took losing her differently. Again I like but for me it just to sudden and non-realistic when Lizzie tells Eli, she is forgiven for what she did. Firstly didn't this tragedy take place sometime in middle school and with the setting being at a highschool, that is at the very least 3 years of getting beat up, humiliated and only god knows what she did to Lizzie all done by her ex-best friend. She forgiven just like that no major event like almost losing, for example, Lizzie or someone close to both of them like Jack. I like the concept but there was no build up to it, it just simply fell out of the blue. Plus I don't really like the whole BBF with her (Eli) it's just too confusing/non-realistic. Like you can't just simple go from being a complete dick to BBFs it takes time to rebuild those bonds of friendship they can't simple appear out thin area like that.
