hello hello!! i'm a fellow forsaken writer, and i notice your book has garnered a lot of reads in a very minimal amount of time. if i may ask, how exactly do you gain so many readers? i can give you a rundown of my series if needed, i'm just intrigued as i am looking to gain a wider audience!

            Sorry it took so long for me to respond, I took a break from Wattpad and haven’t checked my account since last year but I’d be glad to give you some pointers :D
            
            One of the main things that I think helped my book do well was taking inspiration from similar works in the fandom that were doing well at the time. I was writing for people with similar tastes to me, so I could just stop and ask myself: ‘what do I need to see more of in this book?’, like the fanboy I am. Like subtle hints towards background relationships between characters, a relatable reader insert or references to memes in the fandom.
            
            Btw: while writing based on what is doing well can help popularity grow fast, finding out what types of fics are lacking can be just as, if not more beneficial. If you notice that there’s a type of fic that you wish existed, other people are probably thinking the same thing!
            
            At the end of the day (and start of the day) you need to be writing for yourself or you’ll just be losing motivation, fanfiction is a hobby not a job, if you are writing based on what you think other people want to see, rather than what you would want to see, the fic will end up lacking soul and you’ll lose motivation. (I know it’s cliche to say ‘write for yourself not others’ but it’s a popular cliche for a reason, I’ve found)

So you guys may or may not have heard what is happening with the forsaken devs… in regards to this and Damnation, I don’t know if I’ll discontinue it or keep writing, it depends if the situation gets better or not.
          
          If I do discontinue it, I’ll write books for my other fandoms like Grace, Pressure, Blocktales, Die of Death, Terminaion protocol, ect.
