Umme Habiba Rahman Sejuti

Okay sooo… yesterday was the last day to submit for ONC Round 2 and I’m currently living in a very conflicted emotional state
          
          On one hand, I DID IT. I actually finished and submitted 8k words for Superhuman. Like how? 
          
          On the other hand my second entry is now sitting in the corner like, 
          “wow… so this is how you treat me?”
          And I’m like… “listen… we’ll talk… someday… maybe… if that someday ever comes…”
          
          But yeah, that book is officially postponed to “later” — a very mysterious time that is so mysterious that it hadn't been found yet. :)
          
          Also, life update! we’re moving towns THIS MONTH.
          So if I make it to the next round and suddenly my story stops mid-sentence like:
          “And then Kabbo opened the door and—” 
          - The End. 
           The author has left the chat.
          
          just know I got swallowed by real life.
          
          To my fellow ONC writers, I’m so sorry I’ve been basically a ghost this year. I’m running on last-minute chaos, poor decisions, and vibes at this point. ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ
          But I will try to read your books when my brain cells return. You guys are amazing, seriously.
          
          Now… CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS NEW SOCIAL FEED??
          Am I the only one confused??
          Like why am I suddenly aware that Mr. Randomperson123 is adding this Randomstory123 into their reading list?
          
          Sir… respectfully… I did not ask :').
          And also why would  I want people tracking my reading like that?? Let me lurk in peace.
          
          And lastly… WHAT is up with these random new accounts??
          They come in like:
          “Wow I love how your story has words and sentences. Very story-like.”

          You didn’t even read a single line, why are you even commenting?

Okay, so hear me out guys. I might have just officially lost my mind. 
          
          Coz I'm doing 2 ONC entries this year!
          yes. TWO!!
          
          
          I submitted my first story this afternoon like a normal person…
          and then somehow eneded up deciding i wanna submit the 2nd one too. And had clowned myself into writing it like a madwoman and submiting is now ....just 2 hours before 1st round submission closes. Man , taht was a rollercoaster. 
          And guess what? the 2nd chapter of this NOT even finished yet. 
          
          i’ve posted till 2k words, rest of the chapter will come tomorrow or later (future me problem).
          
          i originally planned to do just one story like always, but i liked so many prompts this year and there was no way they were all fitting into one single story. so… yeah. two stories happened.
          will i finish both within the ONC timeframe?
          honestly… no idea.
          will i regret this later?
          probably.
          but if i don’t start something now, i know myself, i might never write it at all. so here we are.
          no idea which book will be my main focus yet.
          
           we’ll see how it goes
