Once upon a time, I started as a wannabe fantasy gal, desperately trying to be edgy with dark plots that usually faceplanted into disappointment.

Then came the "I'm-too-depressed-for-this" era. I dropped fantasy like a toxic ex I still secretly pine for and ran straight into the arms of his more sensible cousin - Sci-fi.

Now I'm older. Matured? You'd think! But nah. That never showed up.
At least I'm chiller now, and funnier (I hope)!

These days, my bread and butter is rom-com, heavily overdosed with com, thanks to one cheeky bastard of a character my teenage self created.

Ever since I dug him out of an old, dust-covered, rejected manuscript and rewrote his existence - boom! That was it. So long to the "I-love-dark-[insert genre]" phase.

Now, I can't go two lines without throwing in sarcasm or something so absurd that even I laugh at what I just wrote.

So yeah, that's who I am... or rather, who I'm not.
Comedy is my blood, romance is my bones, and sci-fi... well, that's probably my sweat.
