Hello y’all! I’m currently editing “The brightest” chapter by chapter to fix some not so major but also not minor plot holes or just things that aren’t quite right.
Just a little heads up in case some of you take notice of the changes.

I feel like I should tell my readers this because I think it is important, to me at least.
I haven’t read the Harry Potter books yet…
I first watched the Harry Potter movies on 2021 and I knew (I think so) that they were based on books. After watching the movies I was obsessed and made Harry Potter my whole personality. Being obsessed with Harry Potter I asked my father to buy me some Harry Potter figurines I saw. But my father said that he would buy me that Harry Potter books instead, saying that if you were a “true” fan you would read it. I hesitantly agreed because I do really want the figurines (which my father eventually bought me as well). But something inside me like I don’t know clicked, with what my father said that if you were to be a “true” fan you would read the books so that’s what made me agree. The books arrived and I didn’t read them because I wasn’t interested in books nor reading at that time. Until months or a year later I was interested in reading because of povs, one shots, and fanfics about Harry Potter. So I started to read the Harry Potter books well more of tried to. Here’s the funny and messy part. I don’t remember reading them but I do know that I read them because I even wrote on a piece of paper the day I started reading it and the day I finished it. I remember reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and I did not finish it and after that I did not read them anymore.
I felt like I should tell this to my readers because I’m writing a Harry Potter fanfic and I don’t know a lot of informations that was in the books and I feel like if I ever got an information wrong people would
be mad at me. Luckily I’m currently writing a Marauders era fanfic which isn’t much discussed in the books or in the movies (sadly). My fanfic (Brightest) is mostly based on my headcanons and things I see from tiktoks or any social media platforms from the marauders fandom or fanfics that I’ve read before.
Oh and one more thing, I haven’t read “All the young dudes” as well. My fanfic is mostly based on my own headcanons I just write what I can think of or what’s best for my fanfic. or what I think the marauders are like and I think that’s what like other marauders fans as well they make the marauders what they want them
to be or what they think they are.
I think the number one reason as to why I’m bored or uninterested whenever I read the Harry Potter books is because I watched the Harry Potter movies first and the Harry Potter movies are magical. I feel like I got spoiled which I did. I got spoiled by watching the Harry Potter movies. Reading the Harry Potter books wasn’t as magical as watching the movie because the movie took the magic away. Instead of reading I prefer watching the Harry Potter movies instead. Don’t get me wrong reading books are magical as well it’s just that for me the movies took the magic away from the books, well not really took away it just like outweighed the magic of the books.
I want to read the books because I feel like I’m missing a lot of information, characters, and scenes that wasn’t in the movies. And from what my father said as well about being a “true fan”

I’m so sorry for not publishing new chapters. Writer’s block is killing me and I’ve been pretty busy lately as summer vacation is nearing towards its end. Again I am so sorry, I will come back with new chapters!❤️
Hello everyone! Sorry for not uploading new chapters, but do not worry the 4th chapter is in the works. I am also editing the other previous chapters. I do sometimes do that whenever I reread my chapter and notice some errors. But no fear, all I’m editing are the grammatical errors and mispellings nothing major will be edited! I do edit the chapters randomly to delete all the grammatical errors and mispelling whenever I
re-read the chapters. I do read my chapters before I publish them, but somehow there’s still errors that manage to get passed. Now I made a mission for myself that starting 4th chapter, there’s no errors that will manage to pass the checking to avoid confusion for my readers. And also starting 4th chapter I will improve my writing and my grammar and overall improve the flow of the story❤️
Is it bad that I haven’t read ATYD yet?
