@jjelleid I haven’t watched it either but i really hope i get the chance to soon. Woow it’s honestly exactly as u described exactly exactly >﹏< Girl u caught me! It’s unbelievable how much I’m drawn to themes related to religion N philosophy + ur description sounded so perfect that i wanna watch it right now, I’ll definitely add it to my list also I’ve become curious about that line omg feel like I’ll be thanking u for introducing me to this film.. That’s funny especially if it’s for studying i fully support that > <

I haven't watched it but I believe I've heard and seen some stuff about it on my timeline, I loooooove how color-rich Iranian cinema is like...you see things so clearly so saturated-ly it's like life is pumping out of the color palette they use in cinema and film and god I'm mesmerized by it.
The movie is called Wake Up Dead Man, it's about a murder mystery that takes place in a strange non-typical catholic church in New York and the plot is just soooo flawless I was in awe! I loved the way the movie used a clear distinction between atheism and absolute faith and left us to compare and decide for ourselves how each of em affects a certain situation. they used a phrase a couple of time thats still stuck in my mind a week later "Road to Damascus" which means the journey to one's truest self and purpose. It was sooooooo good it made me wanna watch another like 567899 movies (I'm failing almost all of my classes though so I had to snap out of it LOLLL)
