Hey guys. So, most of you have probably been wondering where the heck I have disappeared to this month. The truth is, I have not altogether abandoned you guys. (isn't that reassuring?) The truth is, I've decided to participate in NaNoWriMo all throughout the month of November. For those of you who don't know, Nanowrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and it's an event where you attempt to write a 50,000 word rough draft in only thirty days. There's also a youth version where you can lower your word count goal a bit (in the YWP version, it's set to 30,000 words automatically.)
I've decided to do the real version (as in not the YWP one.) So I'm striving for the whole 50K this month. (Why not? You only live once, you know.) The newest story that I have posted, Lady Thief, is a preview of the novel that I'm writing this month. Once this month is over, and I have the full manuscript written (the whole story may not fit in 50,000 words, by the looks of it so far.) I will edit it. This December, I'll be posting weekly chapters of the edited story on Wattpad.
Sadly, due to the amount of time it takes me to make my word count goal every day, I will not be able to update any of my currently ongoing stories for at least the rest of the month. Until I can get to them, they'll be on hold.
On the bright side, you guys will be getting a story in December with a constant, steady flow of updates. I'm already at 12277 words, according to Microsoft Word. If you want to find me on NaNoWrimo, my username is also ImaginationNeverDies.
If you would be interested in participating in NaNoWrimo, it's still not to late (thought you do have quite a bit of catch up work to do.) Here's the websites for the event:
nanowrimo.org
Or, for the YWP (young writers program) version: ywp.nanowrimo.org
Until next time, guys :) Ciao!
