Hi, I'm new here. This is my first time actually sharing my writing with the world.

I'm the kind of reader who spent high school lunchtimes hiding in the library and my evenings wandering the stacks of Borders Books until they turned the lights off (yes, that dates me, and I miss it every day).

My reading DNA is a bit of everything. I started with the classics like The Mouse and the Motorcycle and Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, before finding A Wrinkle in Time-which first taught me that science, logic, and magic could all live in the same story.

From there, I fell into the epic worlds of Dragonlance and The Wheel of Time, eventually graduating to the gritty urban magic of Harry Dresden and the spicy edge of Anita Blake.

I started writing for myself because I wanted to relive those specific "book highs" again. I'm not familiar with "BookTok," but I wanted to share my passion, so I decided to enter the Wuthering Heights contest as a sort of litmus test.
