Different Every Night can be read in many ways.
1. Read it straight through where all diaries and any other artifacts are chronological but the interspersed future and past narratives are placed based on a connection to the previous diary entry.
2. Read the narratives in any order you want. Read whatever sticks out to you first. It's kind of like Black Mirror. Everything is connected, but you don't have to watch any episode in a certain order for it to make sense. You may experience it differently depending on which narrative you choose to read first.
3. Read the diary entries the narrative is connected to in any order.
My personal suggestions on where to start if you want to read by narrative:
A Real High School Legend Type
Control Yourself
Lovesick
A Few Weeks in October
Max After Dark
My Best Friend's Boyfriend
Teenage Nightmare
Have fun.

@veebringscahos veeeeee i just saw this and I’m not crying it’s been raining on my face lol. Thank you so much for always being so nice. I was feeling kind of upset because someone gave me a really bad critique on this writer website I was on, and I felt like I wanted to delete everything. I’m so glad I saw your message because it genuinely made me feel better. You’re the best!
