I'm Jack.
I capitalise on the start of a sentence and every piece of criticism.

I write words and listen to words. I read words. I like words.

Once I tried to calibrate my fingertips and got lost in my own settings for so long I forgot how to forgive.

A lot of people ask my advice, and I tell them all the same thing -
Written poetry is dead. Speak, scream, cry, yell, do everything with your voice
take that emotion and write it down. Because trying to find a rhyme for Endure won't express anything.

People who inspire me are mostly musicians. Music is and always has been a huge part of my life.
I study music at university, play, write, compose and perform it.
AJ Perdomo, Andrew McMahon, Jason Lancaster, Tom Waits, Laura Jane Grace, Ben Folds, Buddy Wakefield, Sage Francis, Grieves - People who spend more time expressing themselves and less time marketing their music.

"There is beauty in that pain, can you see it?"
