I've been writing stories since I was young, but only recently stopped ripping other people off. In the autumn of 2009 I started writing short stories; in November of that year I took part in my first NaNoWriMo, writing over 50,000 words of a novel I have yet to finish.

Most of my short stories feature characters called Benton and Seth, but you might see some other fiction pop up on here from time to time.

I recently discovered a dormant poetic spirit inside me. I coughed it up, and now I keep it in a jam jar on my desk. Occasionally I hold up the jar and allow it to whisper in my ear, at which point I write poetry.

I live, work, and write in East Sussex with my wife and our two cats. I have yet to win any actual awards or change any lives with my writing, but these are early days.
