I am a novelist and poet, with one completed novel, Volition, (available on lulu.com) under my belt. I am currently working on an anthology of poetry, Loose Woman, and the follow-up to my first novel. During the past forty years, whilst trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up,  I have moved from Durban, South Africa (where I was born), to the United Kingdom, from whence my ancestors hail by way of a little house in a place called WIlderness and a hand-made hotel in the Maluti mountains. I have helped run a language school, I have baked a thousand loaves of bread, I have given birth to three children, survived my first teenager and lived on a thirty-foot sail boat. It was when my writing skills almost started a revolution that I began to suspect I had found my vocation.
