2016 was felt like a long/short year. A lot of stuff went down: old friends left, new friends came, celebrity drama, hate and love, and everything you can think of.
For me, 2016 wasn't the best year, but it definitely wasn't the worst. I started highschool, lost friends, made new ones, stayed single until October, and of course, lived for Wattpad.
At the beginning of the year, I got over my depression and anxiety. It was a huge goal for me, but it still comes around every once in a while. But it hasn't been frequent anymore. I thank my friends because they helped me to forget it and see the more important things in life.
@lvazquez02 has been my friend since the 2nd grade. We're more like sisters now, and I still haven't figured out how she puts up with me. So @lvazquez , thank you so much for staying with me all these years. You're so loyal and trustworthy, and you are really good at putting up with me. How you do it is still a mystery, but I still stay grateful everyday for having a best friend like you.
Like I said, old friends have left as well. We may not talk anymore, but we did have great times together that I will never forget. No matter what happens, I will always remember them. I miss them, whether they miss me or not, but that's not a problem.
In October, I started to date my boyfriend David. We have gone to football games, a military ball for our school, and he's even been allowed to my house. My parents finally trust me with a guy, and they let us go bike riding together alone. He respects me and my parents the same wah I respect him and his parents, and we haven't had a problem. He's my second boyfriend, and I really hope we last for a really long time.
@lvazquez you're next! I will find out if you have a crush. (  ̄▽ ̄)
Highschool has brought new friends, and has reunited me with some from the past. We've all gotten close again, and I know 2017 will bring us all closer.
So goodbye, 2016. It's been a nice year.
2017, here I come!
