I'm from Portugal and I have a huge crush on "Harry Potter"'s character Remus Lupin since I read "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and saw the movie right after. 
I started to write Lupin fanfiction in class an I did it until 2005. Those stories featured an original character -  totally inspired by myself, of course :P - as Remus Lupin's girlfriend.
When "Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix" book came out, I immediately loved Tonks and thought she was a lot like me: clumsy, curious, goofy, impulsive... But although there were a lot of people all over the Internet shipping her with Remus - because of their first interaction and the scene where Harry finds them having a private conversation, the fact that they are mostly mentioned together and the fact that he completes her sentence in the end - I didn't think anything of it. I didn't even think there were going to be any love stories between adult characters.
Then "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" book came out and Lupin and Tonks got together. I stopped writing fanfics.
When I read the last book, I was so sad and mad that it took me a really - I mean, REALLY - long time to fully make peace with HP saga. 
Only a couple of months ago did I go back to watch the movies, read the books and write fanfiction. So, please, be easy on me. I'm still trying to get my old fanfic writing skills back. :)
Also, English is not my first language. Please, go easy on me with that too.
