I was born an explorer. As a scrawny little boy I would escape the confines of my neighborhood and discover fantastic and unfamiliar places. My passion for different lands and peoples grew as the days morphed into nights and the nights became days. It led to marvelous travels to Africa and inside North America. Naturally, I would gravitate towards other explorers and adventurers and find myself in the U.S Army. This afforded me new exposure to Asia and Europe, and its magnificent history. Since then I have travelled to several countries in the Middle East and Africa. It is my desire to continue exploring long into my waning years. For that to happen I live the adage a strong mind in a strong body.
