Now, the most I have to worry about at school is hoping I will get a locker big enough to fit all my stuff in. Back then on my first day I was thinking the picture my primary school teachers painted wasn't exactly right. Feeling cheated as I looked around at the sea of unfamiliar faces spilling out of classrooms in different directions. I wanted to fit in but couldn't see how that was going to happen.
I couldn't believe how many children fit into a classroom when they came rushing out, all I could think of as I was walking alone through the corridors putting books into my bag and wondering what the last lesson was about and would anything ever sink in, looking around at the tons of other kids, wondering If I would ever fit in. I walked across the yard , full of unfamiliar unfriendly staring faces, I thought no I will never fit in here ,I overheard It seemed a lot simpler time when you are leaving primary, and the next school can't be that bad can it, can it?
