Jessica is a shy tech-student. Fiona is a free-spirited wolf. Their simple connection in the online game called Aetherfall Chronicles quickly becomes an impossible attraction-because in Aetherys, the love between a fox and a wolf is a capital offense.
To stay together, they must abandon their normal lives and begin a dangerous, desperate quest. They need to find out why their species are forbidden to love-a secret that is tied to a powerful, hidden history that someone is killing to keep buried.
