Khelsey Jackson grew up where fireflies glowed in the land of 10,000 lakes and 10 million mosquitoes. But she was born in Orange, CA and had many childhood memories at Disneyland with her father, brother and Grandmother.

When she was in the 6th grade she moved to Minnesota where she picked up the northern accent. You better believe she says, "You bettcha," and "Dontcha know." Her grandmother, Sharon raised her and her brother.

Khelsey's love of writing happened when she had to write a short story in Pillager High School. She found that creating worlds and people was fun and exciting. After reading Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy she started writing. Kallos was born, and so was the love of writing.
