I have a brother. Besides telling me the importance of the burqa, she always taught him the rules that were for men to him. She teaches him never to look at girls inappropriately, flirting with girls or making sexual jokes about them. She, to date, reminds us of the importance of lowering our gaze and covering ourselves. Women are allowed to show their face, hands and legs. And men shouldn't show their below-torso and above-knees to anyone. I believe Islam has equality for everyone and tells both women and men to guard their modesty. I believe every religion does, but we believers neglect it and do as we love. I wear a burqa; boys stare at you even if you wear a burqa, but I know I followed my God's order; I don't care if they do or not. My only goal is to make it to paradise. No one pays for our actions; only we do. No one can save me from hell if I am against the word of God. Vice versa, you believe your religion, and I do mine. And I respect everyone's. Hope this helps, sister. If you have further questions, feel free to ask.
