My first taste of writing came when I was 8. I penned (literally with a pen) a "novel" called the "Venusians" for a school project, complete with illustrations, and won a first-place ribbon for the effort.
I was hooked.
As I grew up, I spent hours on my typewriter pounding away at the keys --  and getting white-out all over everything. 
College was next where I studied journalism and have been working in the field for two decades. I have won awards for my reporting and writing in that field and decided to branch out again into fiction.
In the past year, I have written two novels: "Nine Meals" and "The 17." They are available on Amazon, so check them out if you are curious.
As far as hobbies go, I am a teenager living in a 40-year-old body. I like video games, Magic: The Gathering and doing stupid things that result in twisted ankles and separated shoulders.
I have a wife who I adore named Dahn (yes, unique spelling for a unique woman), a dog named Fumble, two infuriating cats named Dexter and Milo. Their names should be Puke and Puke More, a bird named Gizmo and a bunch of fish that I have not named (not that far gone ... yet).
