I’m a fiction author (there, I said it out loud!) working the ole’ 9-5. Well 7 to 3:30 if we want to talk facts, but you get the idea. During the day I deal with soybeans—just to solidify my reality as a Midwest small-towner.

I’m a fan of the tall tale. I’ve had real conversations explaining to people that I’m not a liar: I’m a colorful storyteller—and yes!—there is a difference. I’m a writer struggling to think of myself as a writer, but as you can see from the first line of this amazing "about me" section, I am putting that struggle to rest once and for all.
