I am a teacher living and working in the UK. I have really loved taking part in Wattpad threads and discussing stories with fellow writers. If you have something to read, I'll take a look when time allows. PM me if you don't mind. I'll read just about anything but I will switch off if I'm not into it. I'll feedback when I have time (see the teacher thing).

From the first time I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when I was small, I have loved reading. I spent hours trying to imagine The Chocolate room! Since then Roald Dahl has been joined by Tolkein, Frank Herbert, Terry Pratchett, Patrick O'Brian, Tolstoy, Derek Robinson, Goscinny and Uderzo, Herge, George MacDonald Fraser and Charles Dickens as treasured guests in my house. They have never outstayed their welcome and I expect that they never will.

I will read just about anything in any genre. It must transport me, immersing me completely in its own reality.

Cutthroats of the Coast is a bawdy, scatological romp that involves rum, pirates, the Crime of the Century and one mad, bad and frequently naked captain. It really is not for younger readers. Or older readers, for that matter. I should really just enclose it in lead and drop it in the nearest ocean. Feel free to dive in after it!

Fantasy in the City (and More Fantasy in the City) are selections of short stories that are slowly exploring a simple idea. What if fantasy archetypes inhabited the modern world? They're only short so spend a happy five minutes reading complete ideas.

The Prisoners of Solitude is complete online (at last). It is my first, much loved child (although still needs another edit). Thanks to all the readers who have helped me shape an opinion on how to do this.

Twenty Odd Snippets is a little more about me if anyone is remotely interested. It's very short!

Read them and enjoy! It's great to chat so don't be shy - comment! Remember to vote people!
