Hi there! I'm Kristan Tracy and I've come to Wattpad because I want to write a book. 

I am a writer by trade (I work in documentation and marketing), and an avid reader who is itching to pursue my lifelong dream of writing and publishing a novel. The trouble is, despite starting dozens of intended novels over the years, I've only ever finished a couple, and never felt confident enough in them to ever revisit them for editing. This includes works I've published on Wattpad in the past, but have since removed to give myself a fresh start.

A while back, though, I started writing a book that truly felt like THE ONE. I was head over heels IN LOVE with this story. Like any good romance, there was a meet-cute (the idea crashed into me one day like a divinely attractive stranger in a crowd), a whirlwind affair (I ate, slept, and breathed this story for months), and promises of forever. But, also like any good romance, "forever" was interrupted by a life-altering twist that forced us to go our separate ways. What was the life-altering twist, you ask? I had a baby :)  <3 !! 

But in a romance, the mid-point jolt that catapults the lovebirds in different directions is only ever temporary. So, I have a goal. Fall back in love with my novel and see it through to the end--for better or worse, in sickness and in health. 

I've come to Wattpad to share my story with you. I come seeking not fame nor validation (though I'm not opposed to either!), but ACCOUNTABILITY. I love my story and I am invested in it in a way that I wouldn't expect any readers to be. However, if even one reader finds my story enjoyable enough to actually follow, I will not let YOU down. I will complete my story for you and for me.
