Kristen James is an outdoorsy girl who loves hiking, picking wild berries and mushrooms, and spending time with her family. Of course she loves reading and writing too! She discovered her love of writing in the fourth grade when her class wrote short stories. Today, she writes love stories with family drama, mostly set in the rugged and beautiful Pacific Northwest.  She's published through Montlake Romance, AmazonCrossing, and independently, with twelve novels, eight novellas, a collection of Christmas stories, and three nonfiction books.
