After spending the night curled up in the cave, the morning came, and the wolf nudged the kitten with his muzzle.
“Come now.... we must go.” He told his new companion. “Five more minutes, Wolf.” The kitten mumbled. Sighing, the wolf carefully picked up the kitten by the scruff of her neck, like he would a newborn pup, and placed her on his back.
‘Rest there... it should be more comfortable than the cold stone.’ He thought, before padding off, being careful as to not cause the sleeping bundle of fur on his back any distress or trouble
