I'm a writer of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and historical fiction - or really whatever excites me in the moment.

Only got one work up here at the moment, but I'm quite happy with it, and definitely think you should check it out. I'm committed to updating it at least twice weekly, but at the moment I'm doing so almost daily.

Starship Amrita

My current pride-and-joy, this story follows the adventures of none other than the titular Starship Amrita, a mysterious ancient vessel that wanders the Cosmos under the guidance of the talking black cat Apollo. I've submitted the story under sci-fi, but it's very much sci-fantasy and definitely not hard sci-fi. The story starts with two fugitives - Tavian, a wandering bard, and Mu, a runaway princess - who find their way to the Amrita. It's action-adventure with plenty of humour and an eccentric cast of characters, building to an epic tale of destiny. There's even a sprinkle of cosmic horror in there, just to really keep things fun. It's got magic, it's got galactic empires, slumbering gods, martial arts, and even a smattering of romance. If you like Cowboy Bebop, Firefly, old-school Star Wars, Honkai: Star Rail, or just the camaraderie of a good D&D campaign, there's probably something here for you. And if you happen to be the only other person on Earth apart from myself who also has a hyper-fixation with inter-war Shanghai, but has wandered what it would be like in space, then have I got news for you!
