Happy pride month everyone! While this month is a great time to celebrate how far we’ve come as a society in accepting lgbtqia+ and remember how far we still have to go to fight for equality and acceptance, let’s also not forget how important it is continue making our voices heard as we speak out against the racism and injustice the black community has been facing for centuries. Now is a time to speak up and protest against our society’s systemic racism, police brutality, as well as the endless homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, etc. that still plagues many aspects of our society from a lgbtq person’s ability to receive medical care to the lack of lgbtq+ sex education in school. I encourage all who are not immunocompromised and don’t live with someone who is to go out and protest against our society’s inequality and injustices and bring on the revolution that we need. If you choose to riot I ask you to please try to refrain from vandalizing or stealing from small businesses as they may not be capable of recovering from that in the same way a big chain store or restaurant like Target or Wendy’s could and also please do not actively try and hurt anyone. I also ask you to please google a lawyer in your city who is offering pro bono services to protestors and a community bail fund before you go out protesting or rioting just in case you get arrested. Please also remember to wear a mask as we are still living in a world with a pandemic and if possible, eye coverings like goggles to protect against pepper spray. I hope all of you are staying safe and I love you guys. Again happy pride month everyone.

And welcome to the revolution haha
