          Funny how, in a world drowning in sorrow, negativity, and selfishness, such a flower can exist. I've never been like the sunflowers-never have been, never will be. I am the darkness, the embodiment of everything twisted and broken.
          
          My flawless skin, wheatish tone, and lean body may project softness, fragility, and beauty, but this world is ruthless. It shatters anything tender. It shattered me when I was five, and now, at twenty-five, I destroy anything that dares walk the same road I do.
          
          This is my story-the story of a girl born in a country where men rule and women scream until their voices are silenced, until they are found the same way others have been: 'dead,' 'broken,' and 'beneath a man.' But I won't let men have their way-not with me.
          
          Ever wondered what it would feel like to peel away their skin, to shred their flesh and turn it into manure for my sunflower garden?
