I laugh, I live, I cower but dare;

I cry and bleed, but brave and care

from stories of courage I let you hear

I've given all, whatever the cost;

I've depleted, I've shattered, I accepted I've lost

those stories I tell out to the world

I was merely asking for a hand to hold

but you never guessed what I wanted to say:

I need you, please save me, come take me away

when you come, look deeper;

hold my hand, not merely hover;

when you listen, extrapolate;
