@EmmalinaConquest  I'm not gonna lie, your messages inspired me to get back to writing so I'll probably have a few chapters posted this weekend!  Finishing this book has been weighing on me for YEARS but I want to do Freya & Samuel the justice they deserve SO badly that it's been hard to get in the zone, if that makes sense.  
            Anyways, all that to say - thank you so much for taking the time to write to me!!!  I've felt like most ppl have given up on the second book (rightfully so since it's taken me so long) but it feels really good knowing someone out there is excited!  Hopefully you'll enjoy Phoenix Song!  (:

I couldn't find your comment on My Dark Knight but I hate her so much I had to come here to say this, she's such a bad friend to Sky everytime I read that chapter I hate her more
          (funnily enough my ex bestfriend was exactly like that and she had the same name haha)

Oh my gosh I know right! Usually the best friend is pretty cool and you're just like, "Aw what a good, protective, wise friend who helps her realize she's being stupid." NOPE NOT MARIA. Instead, she only gets Sky into more trouble, makes completely idiotic choices, and cannot handle simple tasks to literally save lives. "Oh I'm so mad, let me run off into the forest alone although there's the threat of vampires la la la!" I'm really sorry you had to go through that, friend. But I'm glad you've dropped her and have moved on so you can be happier!
