Today seriously feels sucky because my mom and I think our smoke detectors have officially reached their end of life and have decided on mutiny.
Right now all is quiet and we have the new alarms ready to go..... now we realize we need a taller step ladder

Went thrifting with my friend today. Got some cool finds (unfortunately the dress I bought was sized incorrectly so it's too small which sucks)
Also ended up being upgraded from bridesmaid to maid of honor for said friend's wedding in the fall within that trip so..... both excited and nervous. *anxious laughter*
Watching "The Last Unicorn" gave me a whimsical nostalgia kick so now it's onto "Swan Princess".

@BlueBirdLegend yeah, I know. I caved and bought it on Amazon Prime for like $13 because I miss it so much. I wish it was more accessible for free T-T Like, I swear it was on Tubi at some point and I kept meaning to watch it but never did before it was removed. And the internet SAYS it's on Netflix but I'm betting it's one of the crappy cgi animated sequels and not the og.
@Otaku_Hufflepuff Omg yes that was my favorite movie as a little girl. I haven't been able to find it to watch for free in so long that I've almost forgotten the plot entirely.
Rewatching "The Last Unicorn" because it's been a minute and I'm watching Leer talking to Molly about all these things he's been doing to impress Amalthea.
Like slaying a dragon.
And both me and my mom are like "Uh, yeah, I wouldn't appreciate a severed dragons head either. How dare you slay that dragon-"
@Otaku_Hufflepuff I watched it when is was in...I think it was 5th grade and my future children will definitely watch it (Weather they like it or not). And I see what you mean about the prince. He sorta is like his dad, but more of a better version since his dad was straight up evil and poor Amalthea had to have that pain knowing she was the last Unicorn. Though the prince just wanted her love and her beauty too.
@Wistfultiger oh it's always been a favorite of mine since I first watched it in middle school. I'm always gonna love this movie. My future children are gonna be forced to watch it XD. When you think about it, the prince if like his dad. He saw something he wanted and relentlessly pursued it so he could have it. That something being Amalthea. While he doesn't want to nessisarily trap her, he wants her love.
@Otaku_Hufflepuff I actually have that movie! And I agree with us on the dragon...I would be very disturbed and would probably not want to be with the guy. But what do you think of the movie?

This is my third father's day without my dad here. I nearly forgot Father's Day was today since I don't have a dad to celebrate with today. Not even my grandfather anymore. And next weekend is my dad's birthday too.
June is just a weird month for me now :')
