I thought I'd take a moment to talk about what I like about Thanksgiving the most.

Since I was a teenager, I've helped my mom with Thanksgiving dinner. It's always been use giggling and laughing in the kitchen about random things or if we make a silly mistake (like forgetting to put the cream in the pumpkin custard for the pie XD).

It's a bonding experience for the both of us and it's not Thanksgiving for us unless we're cooking in the kitchen together while snacking on things (because we can't eat lunch because we're too busy cooking everything)
This year it's a little bittersweet for us because we'd usually be at my grandfather's cooking it in his kitchen. He told us once that his favorite Thanksgiving tradition was listening to my mom and I being silly in the kitchen. In fact, it was his favorite thing whenever mom and I came to cook dinner for him sometimes throughout the year. I really wish that we could have had one more Thanksgiving with him so we could give him that again.

So I hope you all have something like this with your families. Cherished little traditions that bring warmth into your heart. Like forgetting the cream in the pumpkin pie and not realizing until you bite into it. Or trying to mix it in after pouring it into the pie crust XD

My brain: *comes up with new Alastor fic ideas*

Me: STOP THAT! I'M ALREADY WRITING THE FIRST ONE YOU CAME UP WITH!!

My brain: HA! No. *comes up with another one*

Me: DO YOU EXPECT ME TO WRITE THEM ALL?!

          My brain: ...... maybe :)

I think the Alastor brainrot has settled in-

I find it so funny that while my mom isn't really a fan of Hazbin Hotel, Alastor is her favorite character XD

When the first season came out, I showed her a clip of him going "Uggghhhh, Susan!" and the way she cackled!

And for the past couple weeks, she's been sitting in the room with me while I watch the episodes as they release. And Alastor remains on the throne of the household favorite with me and my mother.

Honestly, I can see her sitting down with me next season just for Alastor because she finds him entertaining.

Hazbin Hotel season finale spoilers! You've been warned
          .

          .
          .
          .
The way I cackled when I saw how Vox died-
I was slapping my knee like OMFG, THE TV OF ALL THINGS?! MIGHT NOT BE WHAT I THEORIZED BUT I WAS NOT DISAPOINTED!!! XD

And I'm just applauding Alastor for being so smart. Having Charlie tell all of Hell that Vox was the strongest to break his deal with Rosie and then saying that his deal with Vox was broken because Vox touched Charlie! And then calling Vox out for being a creep XD

"You f*cking creep! You're always doing that, and I hate it!" while tapping Vox's screen for emphasis XD

AND WHAT DEAL DID HE STRIKE WITH ROSIE?! DOES HE OWN ROSIE'S SOUL NOW?!

So yeah, I loved the finale, can't wait for season three.

Okay, question for you guys regarding an Alastor x reader book

So I was thinking of having flashbacks and special chapters in it about Alastor and the reader when they were alive but I'm also wondering if I should do two books now
One of when they were alive and then the second book would be the actual plot of the show

          What do you guys think?

Superdash2468

I think it would actually be interesting if you have the events of the show first and then write them when they were alive. You could make us wonder why certain actions are taken and then those reason get revealed in the book about life before. Or you could write them both in the same book, I think it really depends on how much content you want to put into both eras of their lives.

So, you guys know how I got that new job recently?

Yeah, they encouraged me to quit-

Reason being..... my co-workers were "worried" about me and thought that right now might not be the best time for me to work because I was crying a lot and they were afraid to even tell me I was doing something wrong in fear of me crying (which only happened once but I already had a lot on my mind that day so it kinda just set me off when I normally wouldn't have reacted that way)-

Gee, wonder why I'd be crying a lot? Can't be because I lost someone very dear to me.

Honestly, I've come to terms with it (because it happened two days ago) and yeah, maybe it'd be better for me to find a new job after the holidays and when I'm feeling a bit better emotionally.
It still hurt though because I JUST started the job and then lost it.

          So yeah..... that happened

Otaku_Hufflepuff

@Talia-Luvs-Bonno to quote Alastor "That's it! F*ck this! I quit!"
