Did Percy skip a school year or am I just going crazy?
          
          In the Lightning Thief, Percy was 12 and in 6th grade.
          
          In the Sea of Monsters, Percy was 13 and finishing 7th grade.
          
          In the Titan's Curse, Percy was 14 and in the middle of 8th grade.
          
          In the Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy was 14 (turned 15 at end) and just finished 8th grade.
          
          In The Last Olympian, Percy turns 16 and finished his Freshman Year.
          
          Than in the Lost Hero, Annabeth says they were dating for like 4 months before he disappeared so he prosumably still in his Sophomore Year.
          
          At the end of Blood of Olympus (which takes place during the following summer after the Lost Hero), Percy excited tells Nico that Annabeth and he will be finishing their last year of High School together and going to New Roman.
          
          In The Hidden Oracle, Percy and Apollo say Apollo has been missing for 6 months (roughly) since the events of Blood of Olympus thus saying Percy is still 17 and in his senior year.
          
          Finally in the Hammer of Thor (which takes place roughly 6 weeks after The Hidden Oracle), Annabeth says Percy just needs to finish his last semester and graduate before they help Magnus.
          
          So Percy defiantly skipped Junior Year of High School and no one cares.

          Saw this on reddit and I have wondered about this too...so did Percy really SKIP a whole dam school year or is just one of Rick's mistakes?
