Welcome to Project Tolkien! 

Curated (for now) by @Silmarilz1701 and friends, this account strives to recapture the very strong Tolkien community of Wattpad that once existed. We can't wait to gather as many fics as possible for your enjoyment!

We have reading lists for The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Fourth Age, and The Appendicies & Unfinished Tales (which will also include large oneshot collections than span Tolkien's lore). Fics for the movies and books and games are all mixed in. There is also a Meta Analysis & Commentary reading list, but as this is Wattpad, it's pretty sparse! If more specific lists are requested in the future, we're willing to expand! This is for everyone to have fun.

Advertising on our message board is not only allowed, it's encouraged. Shout that fic from the mountain tops! If you find a story that we should have in our lists, please share that too!

If you have something you'd like to see, please reach out. At the moment the account is managed by Silz with contributions from friends in the fandom. But if interest expands, we'll add more people and more books.

About Silmarilz1701 - Silz has been writing Tolkien fanfiction since the early 2010s and crossposts to FFn and Ao3. In college, she received her degree in English (writing) and focused much of her undergrad research on analysis of Tolkien and his works. She's very excited to help bring together as many Wattpad voices as possible in our fandom!
