Quince

All nine entries for the last week of the 100 Word Contest have been submitted and posted within 'Something Blue.' 
          
          It has been a crazy journey of pushing my own limits and finding myself being rewarded for doing so. Week 2's results were posted today, and I managed to score two 1st Place positions and one 2nd Place, out of a total of five entries!
          
          I'm excited to move focus back over to my ONC projects, but I'll be anxiously awaiting the final results of the 100 Word Contest. 
          
          I made my personal goal of submitting to every single category, a total of 20 entries, which amounted to 1,293 words. 7/20 entries were maxed out at 100 words and my shortest entry was 7 words. And to me, the most interesting stat, is that 8/20 entries were poems - something I embraced more with each week. 
          
          Keep in mind- there's still 10 days left to join! Take a chance and write something weird or experimental. Your muse is calling~

Chapter the Third is out for 'Love You Twice' and it is more gentle than I originally intended. Honestly, it's just the story leading me, but I'm grateful for an easier-to-digest scene. 
          
          I'm also one step closer to putting LYT on hold and deeming 'Fort GODSLAYER' as my primary. The main reason for this is because I intended LYT to be in first person, but that relies on having a prologue out of perspective (I do not write split POV) and prologues get skipped in the ONC, which would kind of ruin the rest of the story. 
          
          My thought is that I'm not behind, so I'll keep plugging away at it intermittently, but the long-term plan is to rewrite it in first person after the ONC. 
          
          In the meantime, I'm going to work on finishing up my entries for the last week of the 100 Word Contest - which I'm almost done with!! Not surprisingly, 'Humor' is giving me the most trouble </3

          I'm still incredibly motivated to write both, but with how slow I write I will have to drop one during March. It will most likely be whichever one I get inevitably stuck on, but I'd be interested to know if anyone's rooting for one story over the other?

It's time to highlight something important about the way I post: I don't like spoilers, but I recognize that Wattpad is a place that is set-up to be very clear about triggers. 
          
          I ask that readers who might be new to my work pay close attention to the tags I use and what I mention for Content Warnings in my blurbs. I'm very honest about what to expect, but I like to do so discreetly. 
          
          I'm being blunt now because it took all of two chapters to get into some heavy themes in Love You Twice - and it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Which it will. So, there's that to look forward to, but I felt the need to do a PSA before the upcoming chapter especially.

ONC season really is the time that I feel the most connection on Wattpad. I finally get the opportunity to read stories from people in my TBR, while cherishing new content from my favorites. There is so much support and so many good reads! 
          
          I'd like to give a shout-out to one of the stories I'm following: The Thirteenth Jem by @Nyhterides
          Not only is it a great story, but Christine was nice enough to dedicate a chapter to me! 
          
          I don't expect anything when I engage with people's stories - I'm just a really enthusiastic reader, but I also believe in celebrating when users go the extra mile to support the community <3
