Rachael Morgan was raised in Western Australia. She was a primary school teacher for several years and has extensively travelled the world to vastly exotic places like Whistler (Canada) and London (not Canada). Several years after returning from living in the UK and missing the miserable weather and landscape, she found the next best place; Melbourne. Her reasons: it doesn't require a 24 hour flight or currency exchange and the cider is just as good.
Her first novel I Dare You is set in Perth, where she spent many years.
