Rain was born on September 11 and spent most of his youth in the city of Pasay, Philippines.

Studied nursing in college. He was a graphic artist, resort marketing manager, youth and community organizer, training facilitator, module developer, fund-raising project officer, multi-media development officer, restaurant supervisor, and social media manager.

He is connected with teamCITE (Center for Innovation and Transformational Education), a leadership training and consultancy group that he co-founded with three other friends in 2000.

Rain is also a blogger and a freelance writer.  He has written a number of scripts, stage plays, songs, poems, essays, short stories, articles, commentaries and other uncollected and unpublished literary works.
