Red loves to write romantic adventure and queer erotica short stories. Since childhood, Red has loved losing herself in other times and places, and sometimes living vicariously through her strong female characters. She is working on a debut novel (she has a few discarded manuscripts behind her) set in the late eighteenth century. By day, Red works as a research administrator and aspiring science communicator. She is a lapsed blogger, a burlesque student, classic movie buff, X-Files fan and Trekkie.

Red dabbled in Star Trek fan fiction (mostly Femslash) in 2019, and after a long vacation, in 2022. Red finds writing  fanfic a lot of fun.
