Alice's encounter with a mysterious man as a small child is dismissed as a symptom of an overactive imagination until a new job leads her into a hidden world of vampires and their hunters. Unlike the creatures in the books and films she's seen, Alice discovers vampires walk among us, regulated by a strict code enforced by the most powerful of their kind to ensure their survival. Falling in love with a seemingly cruel and cold vampire, a rejected Alice returns to embrace her birthright in a desperate attempt to save him as he once saved her.
I'm really enjoying writing this one, it's all planned out, and I even have a sequel in mind. Please read and comment if you like it xx
I've been taking some time to regroup following some brutal feedback from a competition I entered (justified, but still hard to read!). I've had some brilliant support from a lady who's published a large number of novels (one has even been turned into a film!), and I've completely redrafted the first few chapters of Controlling Vulnerable as a result. I'll probably unpublish all 5 novels soon because I want to query agents.
I'm still reading all your stuff when I have chance (loving Dragon Lady right now) xx
