I came to writing not through books but through watching.
I have always been the kind of person who notices what others move past too quickly - the weight behind a casual sentence, the silence that changes shape depending on who is holding it, the precise moment a room shifts when the wrong person walks in. I spent years collecting these moments without knowing what they were for.
Writing turned out to be what they were for.
I write at the intersection of darkness and desire. Stories where love is never straightforward, where the most dangerous characters are the ones who believe completely in their own goodness, and where the people least looking for connection find it in the most inconvenient places. My work doesn't flinch from the uncomfortable parts of being human - the guilt we carry longer than we should, the obsessions we dress up as devotion, the silences between two people that say more than the conversation ever does.
I don't write stories that make you feel safe.
I write stories that make you feel understood.
