Heya!

I just wanted to say thank you for adding my story, You&Me, to your reading list! I hope you'll enjoy that little immersion into Simon's head and the shift of his relationship with Jace. May you stick around long enough to see those two idiots, finally, become Jimon!

          Happy Valentine's Day!

I saw your post on the fanfiction board, but I think I'll get yelled at by the moderators for advertising if I reply there.

If you want some polished Shadowhunter fanfic, swing by my profile! :D Mine are full-length novels with plenty of meat into which you may sink your teeth.

Book 1: Prince of the Courts (complete)
Book 2: Exile of the Clave (complete)
Book 3: Blood of the Hunt (in progress)

You'll need to have read TMI 1-6 + Lady Midnight to understand what's going on, but the more of the other novels you've read, the more you'll be able to appreciate the complexity.

It's entirely up to you how you choose to handle it.

Proper spelling and grammer will go a long way toward improvement. Beyond that, greater descriptive writing will bring scenes to life for your readers. Take the time to describe where they are, what's around them, how they feel, what they are the thinking. Have them interact with their environment rather than simply standing still in a grey murk of undescribed scenery, reciting monotonous dialogue that is uncoloured by varying adverbs to change tone and delivery. Breathe life into them. Observe your own surroundings while you write and pick out things that you notice, and then translate these details onto the page.
